PINKBLUSH - THREE WAYS

Spring is finally here and it's officially the beginning of wedding season.

We haven't been to a wedding in quite a while but I'm so excited to get ready for a very special wedding coming up for my sweet niece. I love the idea of a spring wedding and it's inspired me to share three looks with Pink Blush for the occasion.

The first look is a perfect bridal shower dress. I love the softness and lace detail on the dress. Casual enough to re-wear all spring and summer long, but special enough to stand out for a special occasion.

An afternoon garden wedding is the perfect setting for a soft maxi dress. I love the way this lavender dress flows, and the flutter sleeves are so super sweet.

And this pastel green dress is the perfect dress for an evening occasion. I love the soft flowy sleeves and the sweetheart neckline. My girls love this dress the best and say it looks like a princess dress.

EASTER BASKETS 2022

Easter is such a sweet and special time for celebrating. I love that joy and hope it brings!

And Easter baskets are so fun to put together for the kids. I love collecting special items they get to use for the holidays. So excited to be able to share what we're putting into our baskets this year. (I got these bunny baskets from Indigo last year, and am super excited to reuse them again this year.)

I tried my best to include mostly items that they will use and that we could keep for a long time. Quality items took a forefront this time as I was putting things together.

Here's a roundup of what I included for the girls baskets!

Personalized tags are from Birch Bar and Co. They are a local Canadian small shop and they make the cutest personalized tags for holidays. We went with birch wood tags and small acrylic accents. I love that the girls each get a slightly different color tag!

Easter pajamas are always a must! This year I went with nightgowns so that they could get 2 years out of them. I sized up and they should last for two seasons!

Easter Dresses from City Threads Kids are the perfect everyday addition. I love that they are cotton, easy to wash and look so adorable on. The girls love them because they are so comfy and look great dressed up or down. I got them coordinating colors in pink, lavender & wave in the Jersery short sleeve dresses. I can't wait for them to wear them all spring and summer long!

Re-play recycled dishware from the Local General Store. They are a local Vancouver shop and sell the biggest collection of re-play items. I love supporting local Canadian shops and their items are really durable and perfect for everyday use. I got the kids the large flat plates, original bowls and cups. I can't wait to use these for everyday dining at home as well as picnics, summer bbq's and camping. Their new colors are SO pretty! I got a mix of ice pink, blush, leaf, mint & ice blue. They look like the perfect Easter colors together.

Tubby Todd bath items smell so good and are perfect for gifting! The kids love using it for bath and shower time, and it's a fun little add on for the baskets, especially if they already need a new one. We love the scents and it's perfect for bubble baths too. If you're looking to try it out, feel free to use my link here for 10% off your purchase!

Heirloom Dolls from Cuddle + Kind. These beautiful dolls have been a favorite to gift for special occasions, and they are the perfect soft gift for Easter. They have a beautiful mission to give back to the community and each doll helps feed 10 children. I love that they give back. These meaningful gifts make gifting extra special. This year I got the girls Avery the lamb, Luna the mermaid & Claire the Koala (mint).

Accessories - hair clips add a touch of playfulness. My girls love wearing bows and clips in their hair. And a few Easter favorites are Peeps clips from Evie and Pearl Handmade & a cute chick headband from Reno Bow.

I'll be adding in a few inexpensive fun items like Easter chocolates (our favorites are from Purdy's!) some cute flower lollipops and stickers/pencils from the dollar store.

Hope this gives you some fun Easter Basket inspiration!

Polar Bear Birthday Party!

We celebrated Maddie's birthday with the cutest theme - winter Polar Bears!

Maddie has loved Polar Bears for long and it was the perfect wintery choice. We had a few friends from school come over for some crafts & treats.

I love setting up the table with plates and personal settings. I layered two different size plates together and placed a sugar cookie & glittery bear headband on each setting. The girls loved this so much and everyone wore their headbands right away. I love including favors (like the cookie & headband) as part of the decor for double duty.

An easy diy cake is always one of my favorite ways to add some fun to the table. I get a simple plain vanilla cake and add my own sprinkles and fun cake toppers. I love that fun candles and toppers do the job of making the cake look extra special and custom.

Party snacks like powdered donuts, snowflake pretzels, grocery store pink cupcakes, chocolate fish (an extra special gift from my friend Andrea from Party Et Cie) brought the colors and theme together.

I got the girls the sweetest jelly baskets and filled them with simple goodies from the party. Bows, cookies and treats all make the perfect giftaway!

Special thanks to some small shops that helped make this possible and bringing it all together.
