I don't think its a secret that berry picking is one of my favorite parts of summer.
It's the perfect little activity to take the kids to. I love that it doesn't matter what age your kids are - they are able to help out or enjoy themselves while we are out in the fields.
It usually gets pretty warm while were'e out (there is literally no shade when you're picking strawberries!) but I always promise a cool treat afterwards which keeps them going.
We love supporting our local farms, and picking our own fruit that we get to enjoy is so much fun!
