It's no secret I love ALL things pinky and red and Valentines Day is no exception. I think its such a fun little way to celebrate all the people we love. Since having the kids, it's been extra fun and I try to do a little something extra those days for them.
I'm so excited to share a giveaway with JORD watches which is perfect for this Valentines Day season. The guys in our life most definitely deserve something special for this little holiday. One of the most interesting things about JORD watches is that they are hand crafted and the band is made entirely of wood. I had never seen a wood watch before and I was really excited to actually see what it looked like up close. The watch that I have is the Frankie series in Purpleheart - but they have such a great selection of womens watches! The face is the prettiest sapphire crystal glass and the wood is a natural purple toned wood. I love that the wood itself is naturally purple!
The packaging for the watches is so pretty. All the watches come in a wooden box (with a little drawer at the bottom to hold any little items you'd like) to store and protect the watch. When the girls and I first opened up the box, they were so excited. The surprise is the best part of opening happy mail, isn't it? They loved the box it came in and thought the watch was the prettiest colour. The one I chose was this one here, and it it such a lovely shade of purple. I thought it was a perfect fit for Valentines Day. I knew also how excited the girls would be for a watch in such a fun and girly colour.
Probably one of my favorite things about the watch is how light and easy it is to wear. It barely feels like I'm wearing anything at all, which makes it easy to grab in the morning. (And I can layer all sorts of pretty bracelets to dress it up without it feeling too heavy) And because of it's sweet purple-y colour, the girls are asking me to wear it everyday.
My other favorite feature for this watch is that it doesn't run on batteries! It's totally automatic, and it you wear it regularly, there's no need to wind or replace any batteries. I just love that idea.
