HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN CARVING

This was our first year trying our best to decorate our pumpkins a few days earlier than Halloween. We have a tendency to do it the evening before, and spend so much time carving late into the night and cleaning up. But this year we made it a point to do it a few days early to enjoy them and have some time in between cleaning and Halloween.

We also realized this year that our carving tools broke, and so we were left to carve with our bread and steak knives. We missed having our tools so much. Haha. So it was very simple and easy designs this year. And you know what, I love them just as much! The kids drew on the faces and designs they liked and I love having that as a memory. 

And twinkly lights add an extra magical touch!
