February is a busy month ahead, and I was so excited to throw a little Valentines lunch for the kids. They wanted me to make everything with hearts, and I loved that they wanted it just the way I had envisioned it myself! Somehow hearts make everything cuter and more fun.
I made it a casual lunch with some fun treats sprinkled in. I dressed up some waffles by cutting them into heart shapes with a cookie cutter. I made heart shaped cucumbers, strawberries and waterlemon (those were my favorites!). And a party is never complete without sugar cookies to dress up the table. These conversaton hearts are SO sweet and the kids loved reading them. I'm pretty sure pizza was their favorite!
I made a cute little diy with the xoxo waffle toppers. I cut out some x & o's on sparkly paper. Then I hot glued them to some wood skewers for a cute little sparkly topper. You could use this on a cake or cupcakes too!
