Maddie is going into her last year of preschool this year! It's my last year spending most days with her as next year she'll be in full day kindergarten.
All summer long Maddie was telling me how much she didn't want to go back to school. She was brutally honest (as she always is!) about how she didnt like school. But once we sent Ben off to school last Tues morning, she started to change her attitude! She started to get really excited and told me she couldnt wait to see her teachers and meet new friends.
I also wanted to get her a small little back to school surprise to make her transition a little bit happier. I got her a my little pony stuffy and the most adorable matching mama and little necklace set from my friend over at Coral and Cloud. She makes the sweetest handpainted necklaces and I thought a special matching one would be such a great little surprise for her. When she opened her necklace at breakfast in the morning she couldnt wait for us to wear them together on her way to school. She kept saying they were our back to school necklaces and she was so proud. Which made me pretty proud too!
Her first day was a success and I cant wait for her school year!
