This year we decided to go with a theme for the girls - little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. A friend of Maddie's from preschool offered up her furry wolf costume if we wanted. Maddie was really excited about being a wolf so she could scare people in her costume. We started off our idea with that, and I was trying to figure out if I wanted to do little pigs or riding hood to go along with it. Eventually we went with little miss riding hood and Ellie couldnt have been more excited. We read the girls the story and they were pretty happy about it.
I took the girls out for a park day and brought the costumes in hopes I could get a few pictures. (You know how it is - I'm always wondering if Halloween day will actually be a weather day!) We lucked out with a gorgeous fall day and I loved how these pictures turned out.
Hope your costumes are coming along nicely! I'm still waiting to see if we end up wearing these trick or treating or if we resort back to princess costumes. (Maddie is still telling me she wants to be Elsa!)
